New Activities and Words
Ezra has been doing so much lately that I thought I would give you a snap shot into the last few weeks. Ezra has discovered he has a love for cars, much like his brother. Dustin, Caleb, and Ezra have started to play cars in the kitchen. They push the cars back and forth. Caleb of course has done this for years but Ezra has just discovered it. He particularly likes that ones that he can pull back and let go. He loves to watch them go and gets so excited that he did it. Just a few other things to mention - he is running now mostly to keep up up with Caleb, he loves wearing a burger king crown around the house, he weened himself from his binki (thankfully since he was biting holes in them) and he has come up with a picture smile now. When I pull the camera out to take a picture he will often turn to me with what I call his ‘pictures smile’. It is quite funny actually. The last thing I wanted to share with you was a list of words that Ezra has started saying. This is not an exhaustive list but over the last few days I have been trying to write down the words that he is saying. this is what I have come up with: mama, dada, people, baby, garbage (sounds a bit like robby), Papa, Nonnie, Grandma, Poppy, Caleb (Beeba), cheerio, hot dog, oatmeal, teeth, book, ball, cracker, fish, Todd, hat, hat, go, walk, outside, peanut butter (sounds nothing like it but I know what it is), meow, moo, woof, quack, baa, diaper, cereal, toe, nose, baloon, bubble, pop, cheese, toast, pancake, and flower. There are many more I am sure as each day he is trying to say more. He keeps pulling out words that I think he should not be able to say yet. Of course a lot of them sound nothing like the real words but we have learned to know what he is saying. It is so precious to watch.
