Finally Walking
I am a little behind on getting this updated, I do apologize for that. Ezra took his first step on April 29th. He was very proud of himself as were we. Then on Wednesday this last week he took 3 steps in a row. He is so funny about it. He gets just as excited as the rest of us. He very cautiously steps out and when I catch him as he is falling he starts laughing. He loves it. He is still not taking off by himself but I am sure he will be soon. One of his favorite ways to stand up is to sit in Calebs little rocking chair (which he has figured out how to climb into by himself) scoot his toosh to the edge of the chair and stand up from there. He thinks he is hot stuff and is quite cute about it. He has taken a step or two from there but mostly he needs to have me or Dustin in front of him. He is becoming quite a climber as well. The other day we had the ottoman pushed right to the couch to get out the way of something else. I looked over and Ezra had climbed on top of it and was crawling onto the couch, which he then proceeded to flop around so much that had I not been sitting next to him he would have landed on his head on the floor. He is also figuring out how to climb up Calebs slide. It is supposed to be an outside toy but since moving to Washington we have pretty much just had it in the house. We recently pulled it out of the garage and put it in Ezra’s room. He loves going down the slide and yesterday wanted to figure out how to get up to do it himself. He still needs help climbing up but he likes it when I help him up and Caleb waits at the bottom of the slide to catch him. They were so cute playing together.
